Parking in the West End is incredibly limited so we’d strongly advise using public transport wherever possible.
There are loads of great hassle-free ways to get to the event.
- Nearest Subway stations: Hillhead, Kelvinbridge, Shields Road station has a large Park & Ride facility.
- Nearest train station: Partick
- Check bus timetables to find the best route for you.
Service 6: Clydebank to East Kilbride via Great Western Road, City Centre, Clarkston
Service 6A: Drumchapel to City Centre via Great Western Road
Service 8: QEUH to Parkhead via Hillhead, Maryhill, Springburn & Robroyston (until approx. 8pm)
Service 90: Partick to Braehead via Springburn, Parkhead, Rutherglen, Shawlands & Govan (until approx. 7pm*)
Service 189/190: Inner Circle (*Covers most of service 90 after 7pm)
Also – Service 4/4A: Broomhill to Newton Mearns(4) or Eaglesham(4A) via University, City Centre, Clarkston. (walking distance from Byres Rd/University Avenue corner).
If public transport isn’t an option and you have no choice but to drive, please be mindful of our neighbours in streets around the West End and bear in mind parking restrictions and Enforcement Officers will be in operation in nearby streets.
The closest parking is available at Lilybank Gardens, just off Ashton Lane, and at Kelvinbridge Subway station
